As many of you know I am in the final couple of months of my Year in Beer Challenge, 365 different beers in 365 days. And while it has been fun, I will be glad when it is over. But I am not the only one who has attempted their own beer related challenge. Last week in Great Britian, Stuart Ashby completed his beer challenge.
Stuart visited, and drank a pint in all 700 pubs which were mentioned in the 1990 edition of the “Good Beer Guide”. 700 pubs. Talk about a pub crawl! To top it all off, Stuart doesn’t drive. So relying on public transportation, hitchhiking, and a large amount of walking, Stuart was able to visit every single one of the listed pubs. It took him over 5 years to complete, but he did it.
Congrats Stuart.
May your feet keep walking and the pints keep flowing!
